Renovation + Addition to a Mid-century Residence in Austin TX

Using the existing footprint we breathed new life into this home by replacing a tired rear addition, reconnecting the living space to the backyard and creating a new second floor den with kids' bedrooms.   The design concept was to maintain the low-slung ranch look at the street, but open up the back to enjoy the light and views of the verdant landscape.  The kitchen and existing portion of the home were refreshed as part of a full renovation.  Work was completed in winter 2023.
